STATE Growth Minister Matthew Groom is facing calls to resign after he misled Parliament on Thursday. Mr Groom has conceded he "slipped up" by telling Parliament there were no proposals to sell or give away TasTAFE buildings in Hobart. Mr Groom signed a Memorandum of Understanding to explore the proposal just last month, and said he was fully aware of the agreement when giving his answer in Parliament. He was later forced to correct the record, but Opposition Leader Bryan Green said the minister had deliberately lied, and must resign.
