JURORS have retired to consider whether Lenah Valley man Brodie Lee Price is guilty of murder. Mr Price has pleaded not guilty to murdering Jason William McPherson, 41, on January 17 last year. The Crown argued the accused killer had a deep-seated hatred for Mr McPherson, shooting him dead after a long-running family feud. His defence instead argued the shooting was a tragic accident - the result of a drug robbery gone horribly wrong. Justice Stephen Estcourt told jurors they must decide whether the gun was fired on purpose. "The real issue is whether the trigger of this rifle was voluntarily and intentionally pulled," he said.
