The five-piece, which features Michael Attard (on acoustic and electric guitars and lead vocals), Katy Humphries (on saxophone and violin), Jai Larkman (on drums, percussion and vocals), Kilty Salter (electric bass and vocals) and Miles Bender (keyboard and vocals), will play with on Saturday night, with Halfway to Forth and Sumner in support.
After that show, they will then head to the mainland, where they will play in Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland from September 4.
"That tour is for their debut album Bright, which was released earlier this year," Attard said of that run of shows.
"We are pretty excited, and have limited experience and high expectations.
"We are really excited to see how our music and energy is received by people who might not necessarily be exposed to our stuff as much as the people of Tassie have.
"You have to earn your stripes again when you are playing to people who don't know your music or anything to do with you really, but we are looking forward to it.
"It should be a lot of fun."
Before that, there is this weekend at the Royal Oak, with North-West Coast duo Halfway to Forth, who are based in Adelaide, and Launceston's Sumner.
"Our bass player Kilty has been away in Cuba for the past six weeks, so we haven't had a chance to practise or play gigs - for us it will be about getting a bit more game ready as such before heading to the mainland," Attard said.
"You are going to get that electric-acoustic ambient feel with Sumner, and with Halfway to Forth, you have beautiful harmonies and great folky-blues music.
"And we will round it off with our upbeat, high-energy set."
