THE overspending of almost $50,000 by ex-Tasmanian Liberal Party director Damien Mantach has again dominated Question Time. Opposition Leader Bryan Green came to State Parliament armed with the Liberal Party constitution from 2008, along with political party disclosure logs. Mr Green has referred the matter to the Australian Electoral Commission, and called on Premier Will Hodgman to explain why the amount does not appear on the party disclosure form. Mr Mantach was forced to repay $48,000 in personal expenses charged to a party credit card in 2008. The disclosure form requires receipts for cash received through donations, loans and ''any other amounts received''. The repaid money is not listed on the document. Mr Hodgman was an executive member of the party in 2008, and current director Sam McQuestin was the treasurer. Mr Hodgman said he answered all questions on the matter yesterday, and has denied any involvement in concealing it.
