The three-day event - dubbed Festable - saw more than 40 acts from across Tasmania and the mainland travel to the country stage.
Festable could be Meander Valley's own answer to the annual Marion Bay Falls Festival.
Committee member Daniel Rowe said more than 500 people attended their third event.
"This Festable was something a bit more than we thought it would be," Rowe said.
"We got more people and more recognition . . . we didn't really realise the potential in what it could be until this year, in regards to feedback."
He said the group did not advertise outside of social media to achieve the crowd and was now considering its options.
"I'd say our management in regard to costing is very good for what we have provided, particularly for this year and how much was spent on it. It's been good," Rowe said.
"We all thought if we do go down that track in getting finance from Tasmanian Regional Arts - even the idea of (crowd funding sources) Pozible or Kickstarter for a bit of extra money - we could do more grandiose things."
Although the event provides an alternative to Falls, he said they were not trying to compete. "I think it's fairly wicked that we can get people coming to our thing when there are other New Year events," Rowe said.
"The overall demographic of people we get are younger people, the vibe this year was not your stereotypical young hooligan type thing, but more of a community vibe, people are very supportive of each other."
