Senator Lambie says Mr Palmer is not doing enough to support issues that are important to her, such as the Tasmanian economy and a better pay deal for Defence personnel. Her website states "Jacqui Lambie, Putting Tasmania First". While using PUP's yellow theme colour, the site does not mention the party. The authorisation on the page says: "Senator Jacqui Lambie - Advocate for Australian war veterans and injured soldiers. Looking after Tasmania's unemployed." It is in stark contrast to PUP Senate leader Glenn Lazarus's website which is authorised by "Senator Glenn Lazarus Palmer United Party" and names the party at the top of the page. Her chief of staff Rob Messenger was expelled from the party last week.
