POLICE have seized four firearms, including a sawn-off rifle, and a number of stolen items from a property in the South of the state.

Oatlands Uniform police and members of the Eastern District Criminal Investigation Branch searched the property and have interviewed a 30-year-old Claremont man over the incident.
Police said three of the firearms had been confirmed stolen including the sawn off .22 Golden Arrow rifle, a .222 BRNO bolt action rifle and a .300 Weatherby bolt action rifle.
A .22 rifle with the serial number removed was also seized.
Police also found a quantity of ammunition and other stolen items including over the countner medication, fencing material and a caravan worth $20,000.
The Claremont man is being proceeded against for firearms and dishonesty offences and will attend court at a later date.
Enquiries are continuing in relation to further offenders and charges.
