A Westbury man has pleaded guilty to maintaining a sexual relationship with a young person.

According to court documents the 28-year-old, who can't be named in order to protect the identity of the victim, maintained the relationship with the girl in Launceston and Deloraine over a two-year period.
It occurred between January 2011 and June last year while the victim was aged from 14 to 16.
The man appeared in Launceston Magistrates Court yesterday.
His laywer entered a plea of guilty on his behalf.
Magistrate Chris Webster committed the man to the Supreme Court in Launceston for sentence.
The offender was bailed to appear there on September 1.
