The Bureau of Meteorology has said that stream rises are occurring in catchments in the North Central and North East regions.
Northern catchments received rainfalls of between 10 and 27 mm in the 24 hours to 9 am Sunday.
A further 15 to 25 mm is forecast to fall in the 24 hours to 9 am Monday.
The Bureau has said that if rainfalls are toward the upper end of the forecast range there will be the potential for minor flooding.
