Standage trial to resume next week
JURORS in the double murder trial of Kalangadoo man Stephen Roy Standage have retired for the weekend without reaching a verdict.

The jury of ten men and two women have now deliberated for about ten hours.
They have been tasked with judging whether Mr Standage, 61, is guilty of shooting dead Ronald Frederick Jarvis in 1992 and John Lewis Thorn 14 years later.
Mr Standage has pleaded not guilty to both killings.
Jurors will recommence their deliberations on Monday morning.
