JURORS in the long-running murder trial of Kalangadoo man Stephen Roy Standage have retired to consider their verdict.

Mr Standage has pleaded not guilty to killing Ronald Frederick Jarvis in 1992 or John Lewis Thorn 14 years later.
The jury must reach a unanimous verdict if they are to find Mr Standage guilty of either or both murders.
Any verdict returned within six hours must be unanimous.
Jurors may find Mr Standage not guilty of murder but guilty of manslaughter or not guilty to either or both murders by a majority verdict after six hours.
Deliberations continue.
