Ghanda will open in St John Street, next to Factorie.
Company founder Josh Rudd said he was excited to launch the shop in Launceston, and said that the company's style would be a good fit for the city.
"We're based in Torquay [Victoria] and we're mainly on the coastal areas," Mr Rudd said.
"We do a lot of casual street wear, trackies, hoodies, that sort of thing.
"A lot of our clothing is manufactured in Torquay - we're all about local printing."
There are 21 Ghanda stores across Australia and this will be the first store for Tasmania.
Mr Rudd said there were plans to open in Hobart as well.
"We love coming over to Tasmania . . . we're pretty excited and we think all the hoodies and wear will go well down there," he said.
Interviews for staff are being conducted, with about 10 Launceston people expected to be employed.
