The St Vincent de Paul Society report, Tasmanian Energy Prices July 2013-July 2014, found annual electricity bills for all-electric households are between $290-$370 cheaper than in July 2013.
The annual cost of Aurora pay-as-you go time of use tariffs have decreased by up to $340 but annual gas bills have increased by $50-$80.
Customers using pay-as-you-go are paying more in fixed charges than customers on standard regulated rates.
The report also found that low power consumers were paying proportionally higher costs per unit of energy than high consumption households.
