People streamed into the town this morning to take part in the chocolate-based activities, with Latrobe's main street crowded with people of all ages.
There were cupcakes, fudge and chocolate coated almost everything on offer, as well as lollies and savoury food for the less chocolate inclined.
This year's Winterfest consisted of 42 activities spread across 24 venues, including a chocolate appreciation masterclass, chocolate mousse mayhem, and a white chocolate foot massage.
One stand-out was the salted caramel fudge brownie from Modo Mio, based at Spreyton.
The multi-award winning brownies are made with spelt flour, and are, in a word, delectable.
They are thick, rich and supremely chocolatey. The salted caramel was just one of a range of flavours available, including death by chocolate, range and raspberry.
It seemed as if the secret was out too, with a line at the front of the stall for most of the morning.
