Anti-whaling flagship heads to Launceston

The flagship of anti-whaling group Sea Shepherd will spend three weeks in dry dock in Launceston.

The Steve Irwin and its crew of 18 will arrive on Friday and will spend just over three weeks working with local company Southern Marine Ship Lift on servicing and repairing the vessel.

The vessel last visited Launceston in 2007.
