Bellchambers dropped

MELBOURNE -  Underperforming Essendon ruckman Tom Bellchambers is out amid a flurry of changes from the Bombers and Geelong for tonight's AFL blockbuster.

Bellchambers had played the last five matches after making a late start to the season because of ankle surgery.

Essendon recalled Paul Chapman for the match against his old club and key defender Jake Carlisle is back from a knee injury.

Kyle Hardingham and Jackson Merrett are the other inclusions, while Jason Winderlich is suspended, Mark Baguley has a back injury and Elliott Kavanagh was dropped.

The Cats also made four changes, regaining Harry Taylor, Dawson Simpson, George Horlin-Smith and Jed Bews.

Ruckman Hamish McIntosh, like Mathew Stokes, is out with an ankle injury and the Cats dropped Billie Smedts and Josh Walker.

Sydney key forward Kurt Tippett will return from injury for  tomorrow's SCG match against the Giants.

They also regain Ben McGlynn, but lost Rhyce Shaw to an ankle injury and left out Tom Derickx.

West Coast ruckman Dean Cox and Patrick McGinnity are back for tomorrow's derby against Fremantle.

Richmond recalled Chris Newman and Ty Vickery for the Etihad Stadium game tomorrow  against St Kilda, who regain Leigh Montagna among three changes.
