But Kings Meadows resident and mother of six Nichole Hinsheri wouldn't have it any other way, as she celebrates Mother's Day today.
"I like to be surrounded by people," she said.
"Having a big family means I have people around me all the time.
"They're all good kids and they help me out a lot."
Mrs Hinsheri's weekday schedule includes waking up at 4.30am to the family's new puppy, making lunches, driving kids to and from school, work at the local kinder and picking her husband up from work late at night.
The mother's tireless work hasn't gone unnoticed by her children - Samuel, 20, Jaidyn, 17, Jemima, 16, Jessica, 13, Laura, 5, and Matilda, 4.
"She always puts everybody above herself," Jaidyn said.
"If she needs something, she always makes sure it's the last thing that she gets and makes sure we get what we need and what we want."
While Mrs Hinsheri admits Mother's Day is usually just another day for her busy family, Jaidyn has vowed to make 2014 a Mother's Day to remember.
"It's basically about giving mum presents and saying thank you for everything," Jaidyn said.
"I was planning on cooking mum lunch. I'll need to figure out what her favourite food is first though."
