State politicians join Anzac service

Thousands lined the streets of Hobart this morning to watch the Anzac Day parade, before meeting at the cenotaph  on the Queens Domain for a service at noon.

Among the dignitaries at the service were representatives from the religious community and state and federal politicians.

Governor Peter Underwood used his address to warn of the dangers of glorifying war, and to encourage the study of peace in Australia.
