The final evening of a chef-only lamb tour was enjoyed at Hadspen's Red Feather Inn.
Alistair McLeod, of Ready, Steady, Cook fame, said the Melrose Meats-hosted tour was a chance to introduce Brisbane's top brass to Tasmanian produce.
Tasmanian Royal Lamb will be launched this month by the Queensland-based company.
The tour group visited Cressy farmer Robbie Tole yesterday and will today be given an insight into the industry at a producers' forum.
Melrose Meats general manager Kerry Melrose said the Tasmanian tour was the company's second.
``It's a good opportunity for them to see the rural side,'' Mr Melrose said.
``Tassie lamb lends itself to the top-end of the market, and these chefs are from high-quality restaurants.''
