PRICASSO is no ordinary registered builder. While he still holds accreditation in Queensland, Pricasso decided to walk away from the trade about eight years ago to pursue his passion for art. Pricasso has always been extremely good at drawing, but it took him more than two years to refine the craft he now appears to have mastered. "What I do is paint portraits as realistically as I possibly can using my penis instead of a brush," Pricasso said. "Pricasso is the name I was `christened' with when I first started out with this caper, and the name has stayed with me ever since." This weekend, Pricasso will paint masterpieces alongside more than 100 exhibitors at the first ever Sexpo show in Tasmania. Among the other exhibitors are hypnotists, adult film stars, male and female revue acts, amateur strippers, a range of retailers and a simulation ride called "the shafter". The adults-only event started yesterday at Princes Wharf in Hobart, and will be on until tomorrow. Pricasso said being involved in the world's largest sex and lifestyle expo had been an "eye- opening little ride". "Getting the confidence to stand in front of people with no clothes on, holding your penis to create a painting isn't easy," he said. "I usually have a crowd of a couple of hundred people." Sexpo MC Russel Gilbert said he was well aware the expo's name scared some people away. "Once people get inside they realise it's not as bad as others might think," Mr Gilbert said. "It's the summer show, but for adults, with different things in the show bags." Mr Gilbert was quick to quash claims from church groups the expo would lead to a spike in sexually transmitted diseases. "This is my 26th Sexpo, and I have never seen one koala," he said. "Let's be honest, we all know they're the ones responsible for causing chlamydia." Organisers are hoping to attract more than 10,000 visitors to the event.
