Already a well-educated individual, Deloraine resident Mark has several qualifications to his name, including a Bachelor of Arts in tourism and Bachelor of Education in road safety, which makes him one of the country’s most qualified driving instructors.
He is passionate about the transport industry and road safety, particularly when it comes to protecting our young drivers on the road.
Mark and wife of five years, Heather, are passionate about the environment and regularly enjoy bushwalking in the stunning wilderness that is synonymous with Tasmania.
“With my work as a driving instructor and my chaplaincy studies I believe I am a very good listener and well placed to hear the thoughts and aspirations of my constituents,” he said.
“Tasmanians have a lot to say, and rightly so. What they’re saying is that we absolutely cannot continue as we are. We’ve had too many years of Labor and before that years of the Liberals. What has changed? Nothing.
“Our young people are leaving for the mainland because Tasmania as it stands cannot provide them with a future.
“Clive Palmer is a businessman, but he also understands everyday Australians. He understands health, education, employment. He understands industry and he understands small business.
“The Palmer United Party offers something totally different and we represent men and women on Tasmania’s coalface.”
