TASMANIA'S newest brewery will command three of six taps at boutique beer bar Saint John this weekend as part of the annual Craft Beer Rising festival. Little Rivers Brewing co-owner Jess Coniston said while she was fairly cool and collected in the lead-up to the weekend's festivities, her partner Chris was starting to feel the nerves. ``This is a really big deal for us,'' she said. ``We know that people who go to these sorts of festivals, and people who drink at Saint Johns, are really passionate about their beers, so it's important for us to get through to them.'' This weekend will be the first time the one-month-old brewing company's beers are available on tap. ``We haven't had time to open our cellar door yet with everything that's been happening,'' Ms Coniston said. ``We're just really looking forward to hearing what people think.'' Saint John co-owner Ryan Campling said everything on tap this weekend at the bar would be Tasmanian. ``It's certainly a bit of a change from rotating two or three local brews through our taps,'' he said. ``It'll be the first time we haven't had a cider on tap, too, but we'll make up for it by having plenty of bottles available.'' Mr Campling and bar manager Luke Dempsey are expecting a big crowd for their instalment of the nationwide event.
