yesterday.
The first death was a 68-year-old man from New South Wales who appeared to haves suffered a fatal heart condition at the Marion's Lookout area.
Yesterday evening, emergency services were called to a group of walkers on the Overland Track at the area known as the cirque.
A 21-year-old Chinese man had died from what appears to have been hypothermia.
Police said it appeared that the group was not sufficiently equipped for the multi-day hike.
Inspector Kim Steven reminded anyone considering walking in the Tasmanian wilderness to research and prepare adequately, especially for changing weather conditions.
Both deceased were recovered by the Westpac Rescue Helicopter and ground search and rescue parties.
