Boy, 14, to face train attack charge

POLICE have spoken to several young people in relation to an alleged projectile attack against a TasRail tamper and ballast regulator at Rosebery on February 6.

The young people were identified as being in the vicinity of the rail tracks at the time.

Police allege that their investigations revealed a Rosebery boy, 14, threw a rock at the train, damaging a window.

The boy will be dealt with through the youth justice system.
