NEW South Wales golfer Stefan Albinski staged a final-round charge to win his fourth Tasmanian men's senior amateur title at the Mowbray Golf Club yesterday.

The Mona Vale Golf Club member won the championship with a two-over-par total of 215 for the 54-hole tournament.
He carded rounds of 70, 75 and 70.
Albinski overcame a one-stroke deficit heading into the final round of the championship and finished strongly to record a two-stroke victory over local member and final-round leader Michael Leedham, denying him his sixth state amateur title in the process.
Leedham finished on a four-over-par total of 217, with rounds of 70, 74 and 73.
Queensland's Peter King placed third on twelve-over-par 225, with rounds of 73, 77 and 75.
Huon Valley golfer William Wellington was fourth, one shot further back with rounds of 74, 76 and 76.
Queensland's Norm May finished fifth on 227.
