Senka currently works at the Migrant Resource Centre (Northern Tasmania Inc.) where she assists newly arrived families settle into local communities.
One of Senka’s key initiatives was to establish an after school tutoring program, supported by a network of volunteers. This project provides local high school and college age students with additional one-on-one academic assistance.
Senka values the importance of education in creating economic and employment opportunities for our youth and in sustaining regional communities.
