These figures do not include phone calls into the section or radio jobs generated by officers on the beat.
Police said Australia Day appeared to be busy in camping areas such as Boat Harbour, Port Sorell and Bridport, as well as Kingston Beach.
From 3pm yesterday to 7am today, there were 88 incidents logged in the North, 148 in the South and 94 in the West.
On a regular Sunday - such as last week - police recorded 127 incidents from 3pm to 11am statewide.
