It will be the first time since the Jamie Cox Plate intrastate competition was disbanded four seasons ago, that the two associations have met in a one-day game.
Westbury captain Dane Anderson will lead the NTCA side while the Cricket North West team will be have Wynyard's Gregg Sharman as its captain- coach.
Anderson said there had been some difficulties getting a final squad of 12 players together but he was hopeful of a good performance.
"We're pretty confident with our bowling attack and have a good group of bowlers we're taking down there," Anderson said.
"Obviously in any game with the bat hopefully one or two guys can stand up and we can do pretty well.
"Once we get down there and are ready to go and get around one another we will certainly be in it to win it."
The CNW squad features strong representation from Wynyard (four players) and Ulverstone (7), who have been the benchmark teams of the past two seasons, and recently played off in the Kookaburra Greater Northern competition grand final.
"Cricket North West is excited with the squad we have selected for the game," CNW regional administrator Nathan Dennis said.
" It is a squad made up of players who have excelled in the one-day format, and are keen to represent our region.
"Among this squad are a number of players who can go on to higher honours, and we are hopeful that a good performance in this match gives them the incentive to do that."
The NTCA versus CNW match starts at 11am.
The NTCA has also selected another team of young, up-and- coming players to take on the TCL in a representative Twenty20 match to be played at the University Oval on Monday.
Seven TCL cricket teams and an Army side will field teams of six players to play six-over games from 9am with the T20 match between the TCL and NTCA starting around 2pm.
The day will double as a fund- raiser for the family of five-year- old Zach Dalco who was diagnosed with a brain tumour in August.
