HOBART'S Brayden Dunn was the only seeded player not to advance through yesterday's qualifying for the $10,000 Tasmanian Open being played at the Launceston Regional Tennis Centre.
Qualifying games were held to find the top eight men and women to go into today's main draw.
Dunn was seeded eighth but will now watch from the sidelines after yesterday's defeat.
Former Launceston player Troy Robinson, who is back in Tasmania from the US for a few weeks, successfully negotiated qualifying.
The eight women who have advanced to today are all ranked in Australias top 25 players.
