NTCA junior development officer Bob Pooley said about 180 junior cricketers took part with six teams represented in both age groups.
"I think it has been a success - the weather has been hot of course but that's what you want in cricket and from all reports it's been very successful," Pooley said.
"I haven't heard any negative feedback and the boys have enjoyed it.
"There is a lot of talent out there and a lot of mums and dads and parents have been very supportive and active in helping out and the coaches have been very good.
"So all in all I'm very pleased with how it has turned out."
Pooley said the competition had been hard-fought on the field with results shared around between the participating clubs.
