Three teenagers and an adult have been charged with various offences following a four-month investigation by officers from Hobart CIB.
They allege the women were filmed or photographed surreptitiously by one of the men.
As a result an 18-year-old from Brighton has been charged with 15 counts of possessing a prohibited video, seven counts of recording in breach of privacy and one count of assault with indecent intent.
Two Chigwell men, aged 18 and 19, face four counts each of possessing a prohibited video.
The 18-year-old was also charged with distributing a prohibited video.
A 20-year-old from Chigwell faces five counts of possessing a prohibited video.
Following the news police issued a reminder that it was an offence to watch or record someone without their consent in a situation where privacy could be expected.
The men will face the Hobart Magistrates Court at a later date.
