About 40 women took part in yesterday's singles knockout tournament.
The Invermay bowler cruised into the semi-finals where she defeated Sandy Bay's Carol Bannister 25-15, before taking down East Launceston's Raye Simpson 25-8 in the final.
Simpson overcome Penguin's Gaylene Elsworthy in her semi- final, 25-22.
Bowls Tasmania executive officer Steve Tomlin said it was tough, windy conditions for competitors.
"Van Asch is always under scrutiny of the national selectors and is a chance to represent Australia at this year's Commonwealth games in Glasgow," Tomlin said.
Van Asch, 25, was also successful on Sunday when the team she skipped won the women's triples event.
Van Asch along with lead Kim Saunders and Nicole Smith beat Holly Howell, Margaret Woodiwiss and Ruby Jamieson to the triples' crown.
Van Asch became the first Tasmanian to win a lawn bowls world championship in December 2012, when she won the pairs with Queenslander Kelsey Cottrell in Adelaide.
The men's singles, pairs and fours state championships wraps up in Hobart today.
