An information session for the positions will be held today at the Launceston General Hospital lecture theatre level two, from 2.30pm to 3.30pm.
Positions can be applied for via the health department website from September 4 to 13, for early 2014 placements.
Health Minister Michelle O'Byrne said there would be 115 positions up for grabs across the sector, on par with last year.
However, additional positions would be offered as required and as occurred this year when the target of 115 was passed and 130 graduate nurses were appointed.
Ms O'Byrne said the government was committed to employing as many graduate nurses as possible across the three Tasmanian Health Organisations.
``As in previous years, some graduates seek positions within the DHHS while others choose to secure opportunities within private hospitals, private practices, aged and community care, private mental health facilities and interstate,'' she said.
``Historically, some nurses have also chosen to undertake additional nursing studies while others have sought experiences overseas.''
