HER idol is Maria Sharapova, and tennis prodigy Jessica Fowler, of St Helens, says she too has her sights set on the most prestigious of grand slam titles and the world number one ranking.
During a week when the world's best players compete for the Wimbledon crown, 12-year-old Jessica has been selected for the Tasmanian team that will compete in the national Bruce Cup.
The St Helens District High School grade 7 student was the youngest member of the Bruce Cup squad that finished fifth in Canberra in 2011, and this year she heads into the tournament in formidable form.
Jessica won the 12-and-under girls singles titles at both the Launceston and Devonport junior championships last month, results that saw her rise to 16th in the Tasmanian women's rankings.
She is currently 841st in the Australian women's rankings.
Jessica's mum, Tracey, confirmed that the youngster's cabinet was already trophy-laden since the family moved to St Helens from England three years ago.
``Jess just loves her sport,'' Mrs Fowler said.
``On top of her tennis, she does basketball, swimming and surf life-saving _ she will have a go at anything.''
The Bruce Cup will be held in Perth, Western Australia, from October 13 to 20.
