Cure continued her perfect lead-up to the 2012 London Olympics with a shock win on the second stage of the event, which is one of Holland's most prestigious road races.
Cure broke away from the pack at the 60km mark of the 105km stage.
The win placed Cure into first place on general classification (GC) and also gave her the king of the mountain jersey along with the most aggressive rider jersey.
"I was not expecting (the win)," Cure said following the stage victory, which will see her race in the yellow jersey for the final stage overnight (our time).
"Tomorrow will be a big day and I have to try and not lose any time on GC.
"The last stage tomorrow is going to be very hard and windy.
"It's a killer stage for me but fingers crossed."
