THOUSANDS of motorcyclists around the country will set off on a journey next month - and all of them will be sporting a black dog on their rides.

It is the fourth annual Black Dog Ride, which is held around the country on March 24.
The one-day pilgrimage aims to raise awareness about depression and suicide prevention and funds for Lifeline.
Launceston rider Brooke Hornsby said the ride was a cause close to his heart.
"Fifty per cent of the riders who take part have been directly or indirectly affected by depression," Mr Hornsby said.
"That's why I got into it ... I'm living proof that if you seek help and you get the right help early, you can live a full life."
Bikers in the ride are marked by their furry pillion, Winston, who is the symbol of the ride.
In Tasmania, the ride departs Campbell Town at 11.30am and finishes at Bicheno.
Last year about 300 riders took part in the Tasmanian ride, and more than 2000 nationwide.
