Windy conditions proved to work in favour of Sanders, 18, who will come in on the back of a convincing 6-1, 6-2, victory against Russia's Ksenia Lykina.
Aoyama, 25, had to work harder for her win against Australia's Sacha Jones, but brought it home with a 7-6 tie-breaker, 6-0, and 6-4 victory.
Sanders will be hotly watched after failing to qualify at last week's Burnie International.
The finals will be played at 11am today, and will see the two go head-to-head at the Launceston Indoor Sports Arena grounds.
