A 16-year-old suffered a dislocated knee-cap after falling 10 metres down an embankment at the Cataract Gorge last night.

The incident happened about 500 metres from the suspension bridge in the direction of the Duck Reach Power Station.
Police say the girl had been attempting to climb up and out of the Gorge when she slipped on rocks and fell down the embankment.
Members from Northern Police Search and Rescue attended and coordinated the rescue, while the Tasmanian Ambulance Service attended and provided medical support.
The girl was taken to the Launceston General Hospital for treatment.
