President Paul Clark said the association had appointed Tony Ibbott, from Wise Lord and Ferguson, to conduct a full review of all parts of the NTCA.
``Tony has met with all clubs and the NTCA board and the process has started with a completion date set down for the end of March with clubs and members expected to vote on reforms in time for them to be implemented prior to the 2013-2014 cricket season,'' Clark said.
Clark said the NTCA board wanted to see changes made after turmoil in the past between the previous board and member clubs.
``It will be a full review of all our cricket operations, including days and times we play, type of competitions, right through to grounds and facilities and governance laws and the constitution - no stone will be left unturned,'' he said.
Clark said he expected some major changes to come out of the review, including the NTCA falling into line with Cricket Tasmania and Cricket North-West in adopting a cricket committee to run its competitions rather than the current pennant committee.
``We hope to have the recommendations on rules and regulations implemented by the annual meeting in August so none of the conflict that occurred in the past can happen again where clubs moved a motion of no confidence in the board and they refused to go,'' Clark said.
``The clubs are the people that the cricket belongs to and if they wish to have their say they should be entitled make the call on who runs cricket.''
