22 - VICA BAYLEY: As the Tasmanian Wilderness Society signatory, Mr Bayley was working hard on the Tasmanian Forests Intergovernmental Agreement. "This is something that is ground breaking in terms of an achievement and we are optimistic we can pull it off."
23 - MARCOS AMBROSE: The best- known Tasmanian sportsman in the US continued his success in top-level NASCAR racing with season's prizemoney of $4.6 million and had his contract with the legendary Richard Petty Motorsports team renewed for 2013.
24 - DAVID WALSH: The millionaire gambler and art entrepreneur was credited with single-handedly reshaping the Tasmanian tourism experience. He even managed to strike a deal with the Australian Tax Office over a $40 million tax bill.
25 - KATE HORNSEY: The Victorian- based rower gave Tasmania its best result at the London Olympics when she won a silver medal with women's rowing team captain Sarah Tait, behind Britons Helen Glover and Heather Stanning, in the pair at Eton Dorney.
26 - GRANT BIRCHALL: The Devonport- born footballer played in his second AFL grand final as one of Hawthorn's key defenders in a season that further consolidated his reputation as one of the game's stars when he was selected in the AFL's All-Australian team.
27 - PETER WHISH-WILSON: The Tamar Valley winemaker, former stockbroker and university lecturer replaced Bob Brown as a Greens senator for Tasmania and made his maiden speech in June. He was given responsibility for tourism, trade, small business and competition, waste and Tasmanian marine issues.
28 - KEN JEFFREYS: The Forestry Tasmania corporate affairs manager took a redundancy in October after declaring his position was untenable following his accusation that Forestry Minister Bryan Green had misled Tasmanians during the forestry debate. He said he'd lost faith in the Labor- Green government.
29 - MICHELLE O'BYRNE: The state Health Minister had her hands full with a public health system that was under extreme financial pressure during 2012. Hospital beds were put into storage and there was a new public healthcare model to implement and the $325 million federal rescue package to deal with.
30 - JONATHAN WEST: The founding director of the Australian Innovation Research Centre at the University of Tasmania accepted the position of leading an assessment of the Tasmanian forestry industry and found it tough going. He said it probably wouldn't be possible to resolve the decades-old forestry wars but that it was worth trying.
