Sinclair won the Gift in a time of 13.78 seconds from a mark of 14.5 metres and held off all challenges, with Breen, the backmarker off scratch, and Oakley, of Latrobe, off 11 metres.
Trained by Roger Fabri, Sinclair was the 2011-12 NSW sprinter of the year and won the 2011 Canberra Gift.
``I'm pretty buggered but really ecstatic on my first trip to Tassie and to actually come away with a win I'm absolutely rapt,'' she said.
``I'm nearly 30 and the oldest runner in the field but it was an awesome result _ I'm really happy.''
The 29-year-old, who has been running since she was 15, said she was nervous pre-race and expected Breen to come at her late in the race.
``I thought to myself I just have to hold on and if she was going to get me it would be in the last few strides,'' she said.
``First trip to Tassie and to win something as prestigious and historical as Latrobe its really an awesome win and would rate in my top three.''
