The Beatles, Randy Newman, Chuck Berry and Kenny Rogers were just some of the names on the superstar soundtrack for the club's annual variety show.

Group co-ordinator Pearl Treasure said the show was a chance for their members to shine.

``We spend all year getting ready for the show,'' Mrs Treasure said.

``It's all run by volunteers and the performances are made up completely of people involved with New Horizons.''

She said it was the first year to be held at Scotch Oakburn.

``We are very, very thankful for the use of the hall. It's very hard to find a venue, especially at this time of year.''
