Plant Operator

Your new company
Hays is working with some of the top Civil, Quarry and Landfill site across Metro Melbourne and Regional Victoria. We have been inundated with requests for plant operators for several different positions. With 2022 looking like a large year for construction these companies have a strong pipeline of work which will provide ongoing or full-time work with plenty of overtime.

Your new role
In your new position you will be required to operate either one or several types of machines such as Roller, Moxy, Excavator, Dump truck or Dozer.
The main duties will be earth moving tasks as these roles are either in Quarries/Landfills or on large subdivision sites. Depending on what you are operating will depend on the skills required such as Final Trim or Deep sewer.

What you'll need to succeed

• Experience in Civil Construction, Landfill or Quarries
• Valid plant operation tickets
• Other tickets such as HR truck licence, EWP, Confined space, dogman’s or spotters will be favourable
• White Card
• Reliable transport
• Available for full time hours
• Proactive attitude and a strong work ethic
