The sole purpose of the role is to lead the marketing and communications function, developing and delivering a program of impactful marketing and communication activities and campaigns that drive member value, increase engagement, and grow membership.

Job Description

  • Develop and oversee the implementation of the Marketing and Communication Strategy and incorporating a content strategy.
  • Drive innovative integrated communication plans to further reinforce reputation as the leading advocate for the organisations community.
  • Provide high level advice and action is on media or organisational issues management, as well as internal and external communications, ensuring their impact is measured and communicated to relevant stakeholders.
  • Provide strategic brand oversight and drive a range of innovative strategies and programs.
  • Campaign management for membership acquisition and retention, major event marketing and new member products are delivered.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders, including members to deliver organisational objectives.

The Successful Applicant

For your application to be successful you will be an experienced Marketing and Communications Manager, ideally with experience working within the healthcare space. This role requires a natural leader, someone who as previously managed the performance, wellbeing and engagement of a successful team.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Tertiary qualification in marketing, communication, PR or related business discipline is advantageous, but not essential. Capability in managing reputational risk, messaging and political acumen.
  • Experience in creating and delivering marketing campaigns across multiple mediums.
  • Experience in creating and managing digital communication across a range of channels.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to effectively negotiate and influence while representing an organisation.
  • Experience with CRM and CMS tools, Canva, Photoshop, Monday, SharePoint and Campaign Monitor (or equivalent products).
