Full job description

James Boag understood that there’s nothing on earth quite like Tasmania’s natural purity. Which means there are no other beers quite like James Boag’s. The brand’s history stretches back to 1881, when on the banks of the Esk River in Launceston, James Boag and son established their tradition of brewing excellence.

We have an opportunity for an Improvement Engineer – Brewing, to join our team in Launceston. You will provide Controls and Automation together with process improvement support to the brewing and utilities operations on site and focus on delivering sustainable improvement to performance, quality and safety.

With your strong technical ability, you will support small capital projects at site, while driving Lion’s strong safety culture.

Here at Lion, we choose to be a leader in driving inclusion, diversity and gender parity. We have an ambitious goal to reach at least 40% representation of both men and women in all teams in all areas of the business. Are you hesitating to apply because you don’t think you meet all of the criteria? If you believe you are aligned with our values at Lion, we’d encourage you to still click on that apply button so we can explore your unique skill set and the value you could add to one of our teams.
