Grocery Team Member (experienced)

We are interested in hearing from experienced applicants who are available during the daytime, particularly on weekdays. Roles can be full-time, part-time or casual, with flexibility to suit your schedule. 

About the role:

As a Grocery Team Member, your day will involve:

• Replenishing shelves to ensure they are neat, full and rotated
• Merchandising products to create visually appealing store displays 
• Responding to customer queries; directing them to the appropriate aisle or shelf
• Ensuring products are accurately ticketed, labeled, priced and within date 
• Assisting in stock control and ordering
• Offering assistance to carry customer’s groceries to their car when necessary

You will need:

• At least ONE YEAR's experience working in the Grocery department of a food retailer. (If you do not have this experience, please apply for one of our entry-level roles.)
• A friendly attitude, with strong communication and interpersonal skills, and a high level of competence in written and spoken English
• A love of working with food
• A high level of energy and ability to take direction and show initiative
• Ongoing daytime availability on at least 3-4 days per week (Your standard roster will be agreed based on operational needs as well as your availability.)
