Your new company
This financial institution based on the Gold Coast is one of Australia’s leading mortgage lenders. Due to expansion, they are looking for several staff across the following roles: Settlements Team Leader, Banking Support Officer, Client Relationship Officer.

Your new role
Settlements Team Leader – You will manage a team of 4, who respond primarily to settlement and customer queries and provide support with their mortgage applications. You will personally also be responsible for settlement management as well as ongoing account support. Additional duties include filing and phone call auditing, and day to day account enquiry assistance. Salary on offer is $70-75K + Super.

What you’ll need to succeed
You will come from a finance background with experience in the following:

  • Previous experience working in home loans/settlements
  • Previous team management experience desirable (not compulsory)
  • Excellent communication skills

Banking Support Officer – As a Banking Support Officer, you will provide operational support for the home-lending settlements team and internal brokers. Additionally, you will provide exceptional customer service, processing and responding to incoming client queries. Salary on offer is $60-65K + Super.

What you’ll need to succeed
You will ideally come from a customer service background in the financial services or banking industry and be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Problem solving skills
  • Home loan settlements knowledge desirable
  • Team player
  • Reliable, hard worker

Client Relationship Officer – Reporting directly to the Team Leader of Customer Care, you will be responsible for client retention and renewal, communicating primarily with the company’s various broker and funder clients. You will also engage in proactive outgoing engagement, contacting clients to secure brand loyalty and retain customer relationships.

What you’ll need to succeed
You may have a degree or background in Accounting / Finance or Banking OR maybe you will have worked previously in a bank or financial services institution and possess experience and skills as follows:

  • Experience or understanding of homes loans / mortgages
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to process numerical data
