Arborist

Your new company
Hays Recruitment are seeking applications on behalf of the City of Gold Coast for a qualified and experienced Arborist to commence a temporary contract.

Your new role
You will be working out of the Coombabah Depot, for the City of Gold Coast undertaking duties such as formative pruning, palm pruning, crown lifting, mulching, staking, weed control, operation of the MR truck, utilising the chainsaw and chipper machines and other ad hoc duties as required.

What you'll need to succeed
You will hold a Certificate 2 or higher in Arboriculture (Cert 2 or higher in Horticulture coupled with relevant experience may be considered), you will have a CV outlining your recent and relevant experience with two recent references to back you up. Experience utilising pole-saws, pole-pruners and hand pruning saws will be looked upon favourably. You will also hold a white card, chainsaw certificate and certificate II or Higher in Arboriculture. MR truck license is highly desired.
