Job Description

• Processing transactions within agreed turnaround times and consistent accuracy in a high volume environment
• Ensure all settlement functions / deadlines are met daily- Banking files (payments/receipts) Authorised prior to deadline
• Providing superior levels of internal and external customer service by responding to and managing customer and stakeholder enquiries, complaints and issues
• Undertaking investigations in respect to customer requests and/or as a result of transactional or exception based issues
• Contributing to and/or completing Client Money reconciliations
• Recognise any re-occurring errors, identify the cause & implement preventative measures
• Completing general administrative duties as required
• Practising prudent risk management by identifying and responding to business risks
• Undertake any other tasks assigned by your manager that you have the capability to perform safely in line with relevant internal Bank policies and external regulatory requirements.

The Successful Applicant

• Knowledge of financial markets
• Computer literacy, Microsoft applications
• Ability to identify risks, resolve and escalate where required
• Good planning and organising skills with the ability to work to deadlines is key
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work in a team and independently (accountability)
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills highly desirable
• Demonstrated customer service experience
• Potential for work outside of standard business hours

Not essential but desirable:

• 1 -2 years in equity settlements role (or equivalent financial experience)
• Knowledge of Client Money and Trust account rules & regulations.
• Working knowledge of the iBroker Settlement system
