Learner motorcyclist caught travelling 167km/h
Tasmania Police has seized the motorbike of a novice learner rider after he was allegedly caught going 87 kilometres over the speed limit.

Police detected a blue CF-MOTO motorbike - fitting the description of the one they seized - allegedly travelling at 167km/h on the Midland Highway at Powranna about 2:30pm Saturday.
The rider, a 22-year-old man from Launceston, has been charged with multiple traffic offences.
The bike has been impounded for 28 days.
